Q1. What is Bestway recalling?In coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, Bestway is voluntarily recalling certain spa pump models. The recall is specific to AirJet and HydroJet spa pumps with model numbers: US: P05332, P05339, P05711, P05807, P07000, P07001, P05511, P07034 and P07572. CA: P05333, P0340, P07002, P07003, P05511, and P07034. The spa pumps were sold between May 2021 and May 2024 (US) / October 2020 and June 2024 (CA), and could have been sold separately, or in a package with an inflatable spa liner in different colors, styles, and inflatable spa sizes.

Q2. How can I tell if my spa pump is affected?By verifying the spa pump model number. On the side or back of the spa pump is a label with “Bestway” printed on it, along with product information including a date code and a model number. The model number is in the lower right-hand corner of the label and begins with a “P.” This recall only impacts the spa pumps (and not the spa liner).

Q3. What is the problem with the spa pump?Under specific conditions, the spa pumps can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Q4. How do I participate in the recall?Customers should stop using the recalled spa pump and contact Bestway to receive a free replacement spa pump or a pump refund of $100 USD (CAD $137) for AirJet spa pumps or $189 USD (CAD $259) for HydroJet spa pumps. You will be asked to verify your affected product and register through our recall website: NARECALL.expertinquiry.com You can also contact Bestway toll-free at 888-943-2396 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

Q5. I no longer have the receipt or order confirmation for my spa pump, or it was provided to me as a gift/I am not the purchaser. Can I still take advantage of the recall?Yes. You can still obtain a free replacement spa pump or pump refund without a receipt or order confirmation, but you will need to provide an image of the pump through the recall website.

Q6. Can I take the unit back to the store where I purchased it?Do not return your unit to the store or seller from which you purchased it. Bestway can only verify affected product and offer you a recall remedy directly.
